Color Guard & Honor Guard - SYMBOLS OF RESPECT

The Color Guard and Honor Guard are among the most distinguished elements of the Mighty Ghost Battalion. These teams represent our unit, our school, and our nation at formal events through precise, ceremonial drill and deep respect for tradition.

🟠Color Guard is responsible for the proper presentation of the United States and state. They appear at battalion formation, school sporting events, and official ceremonies.

Duties Include:

• Ceremonial march and drill

• Flag presentations

• Competitions in Color Guard Categories

Skills Developed:

• Marching with flags and rifles

• Synchronized and military bearing

• polished uniform appearance

🔵HONOR GUARD

The Honor Guard is a ceremonial extension of the Color Guard. This elite group is trained for solemn and formal duties such as memorial services, and flag foldings. Precision, silence, and perfect timing are essential.

Duties Include:

• Flag folding ceremonies

• Parades of Honor

• Memorial representation

Skill Developed:

• Silent drill and rifle handling

• Discipline under emotional settings

• Execution of formal flag procedures
